Dear Mrs. T,
Thanks for being such a loyal blog reader. This Thanksgiving I just want you to know I am thankful for you. You make me laugh. I realize you think this is possibly ironic, like a clown with a tear, but your sense of humor really tickles my funny bone. I can't believe you even emailed to apologize about your phone, I am still cracking up at your joke.
I've been praying for your trip lots! Yesterday I tried to imagine you in the kitchen up there in Ohio and I was having a hard time trying to imagine what Buckeyes whip up at Thanksgiving.* First, I thought about you guys rolling out biscuits, but then I guessed that was probably a Southern thang, that even Southerners don't make anymore. My next guess was shrimp cocktail, I have no idea why. Finally, I came to the conclusion people in Ohio probably eat turkey and mashed potatoes like the rest of us. Heck, even my friend from Hungary eats turkey and mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving.
Anyhoo, I'm glad I got to see you Monday, it had been too long. And it is WAY easier to blog when I think about you as the audience. Enjoy yourself best you can and just remember to choose to live in the light of the Resurrection.
* Are all people from Ohio referred to as Buckeyes?

Well, hello stranger.
My computer has been broken for a long time. My amazing father-in-law repaired it and my amazing hubby fixed the last issue, getting me back on the World Wide Web. My hands are so happy to be typing on a normal keyboard again! I have been using my cell for checking email, but typing or reading blogs on a cell phone is for the birds...so I am so happy to have my laptop back!
I have not downloaded Picassa on my computer yet, so no pics today, but I just wanted to put up a little post to say hello. In some ways I LOVED not having a computer, but now that I have had my unintentional fast from the internet, I am glad to be back.
Off to read some blogs...
