Rachel:
Last Thursday Rachel got braces. She looks so cute, and is smiling so much more these days. This weekend she had her dance recital. She danced in the company show (which means she is big) and even had two dances. She looked so beautiful on stage and made her mom and dad very proud. Although we have also gotten to the age where we are now embarrassing her in public, so I couldn't hug her to tell her how proud I was.
Rosie:
Rosie finished up 1st grade and turned seven. She got a piano for her birthday. She is still hilarious and creative, but is not as babyish as she was just a year ago. She is riding her bike way too fast for my heart and still climbs up just about any surface she can.
Asher:
To be honest, he's been the tough one lately. We have had some serious parenting battles this month. There have been tantrums and throwing of things and words that I wish I never heard come out of his mouth. After two kids I felt I could discilpline fairly well, but he has completely humbled me. It has caused me to spend more time on my knees, and I know God is with me through this. And I know it won't be long until he is a big, independent boy. So I try to hug him lots and enjoy what I can of this challenging time.
Rosie's last day of school and last day of disgusting cafeteria lunch.
Rachel's "before" pic without braces.
Rachel at her recital with a very supportive sister. She is wearing stage makeup, (we are not in lipstick mode quite yet) but check out her cute braces.
The kids having a great time on the water slide. This picture screams, "It's summer!!"
So now I'm going to go enjoy the pool. Hope your summer has been fun so far!
